The band has been rockin' around for the last five years, every type of venue
from weddings, birthdays, all types of clubs and some pubs that are big enough,
we can basically cater for any venue.
The band started about five years ago when "Big Al" and his band split up which
was called Breathless at that time we had a bass player called Dave who used to
stand in for Johnny Kid & the pirates in the 60's, we also had a drummer called
Steve who was a college lecturer but was more of a 70's style drummer. We rocked
around Liverpool a lot in the early days and started to get a good name but as
all good things come to an end the lead singer and the drummer did not see eye
to eye and the band decided to call it a day. Within three weeks and lots of
itchy fingers later, the band reformed with a new line up, as Big Al the lead
guitarist had had enough of all the bickering and lack of enthusiasm but Bob
would not let it die, we ended up with Pete Barsdle from Manchester on lead
guitar, Graham Brand from Ribchester (now in Vendettas) on Double Bass and Paul
the Drummer from the Rhythmaires so we rocked around for twelve months having a
good time. Until Paul the Drummer decided he wanted to leave to start his
own project and in came Wayne our present Rock n Roll Drummer. Eventually
the band split up "AGAIN". But Bob would not let it die again and his quiff
started to fall out with the lack of Rock n Roll. So a phone call later
and Big Al after a 12 month break returned to the band as lead guitarist and
Dave his mate the Bass player came to. So nearly the original line up
apart from the drummer, we rocked around again for quite a long while and
unfortunately Dave the Bass player had rheumatism in his fingers had to hang up
his bass after playing for 40 years "wot a guy". We still had gigs booked in for
the coming months so we needed a bass player very soon and in stepped Geoff who
played with the Winchesters for the last ten years with the nick name of
"Horace". This had to go we call him "Big Slap Daddy" the granddad of the
band and so the story ends for now as there are no arguments and we are all
mates, with a bit of persistence Rock N Roll does live on. But watch this space
cause all could change.

Well all has changed again because now "Horace" is no longer with us and the new
bass player has joined us Mr Graham Brand. But he is not a stranger you may have
seen him before standing in for our other bass players now and then. No
more changes for a long time to come. "I hope"
Well I spoke to soon our Drummer the one and only Wayne Rogers has broken his
leg Paintballing YES Paintballing. So at the moment we have a stand in, for
how ever long it takes for Wayne to recover you may have seen him before cause
he stands in when Wayne is unavailable. Wayne missed us playing at the
Americana "which was very enjoyable" and he was not very happy cause he had been
looking forward to it all year. Hope he is fit and well soon.
The stand in when Wayne was away was Paul Ryder the ex Rythamaires drummer,
well all has changed again we got so used to Paul standing in and his very
original Rock n Roll drumming techniques that the lads wanted him in the band
and it was hard to let Wayne go as he has always been a good mate but we had to
do for the future of the band and we now have the ultimate sound. And guess what four Quiffs. You never know when we
will update again so watch this space.
Hopefully we will continue to Rock "n" Roll.

Well now the bass player we had Graham Brand wanted to go full time as a bass
player and the best place for him to go was the Swing Commanders and the bass
player from the swing commanders wanted not to do full time so you could say we
did a swap, so now we have Ray Walmsley on bass, not much of a change as the
sound is just as good. All our best wishes to Graham and hope he
keeps rockin forever.
